The Challenge
With perishables, the difference between freshness and waste is measured in hours. Mi Comisariato — part of Corporación El Rosado — needed forecasts granular enough to decide how many units of each fresh product to send to each of its 65+ stores, every day, accounting for the radically different consumption patterns between Ecuador's coast and highlands.
